Summer Employees - (m/f/d)

VIS is seeking to hire employees for the summer to assist several administrative departments, as follows:

• Facilities Department (Maintenance & Procurement)
• IT Department
• IT Department, Focus: Reprographics

(Please refer to the linked job descriptions.)

Time frame: Availability - minimum one month:
IT: July, August 2026
IT, Focus Reprographics:17 August until 18 September, 2026
Facilities: July, August, September and October 2026

​​​Working time: These are temporary full-time positions, Monday - Friday, 38,5 hours per week.

Compensation: between € 2,717.00 and € 2,851.00 gross per month, depending on previous work experience. Proportional Christmas and holiday payments are paid in addition.

German Teacher 

• Full-time maternity cover (potentially part-time position) for a colleague on maternity leave

• Primary Class Teacher qualification or German A Teacher certificate for Secondary Schools (‘Lehramt Deutsch’) required;
• Additional qualification/ experience with special focus on German as a Foreign Language an advantage

Middle School Volleyball Coach – Competitive Programme

Vienna International School is seeking a talented and committed individual to support our Middle School Competitive Volleyball Programme.

Spring Season: March 16 – May 30, 2026
Location: Vienna, Austria

The successful candidate will:

• Plan and lead volleyball training sessions
• Coach students during practices and competitive matches
• Support student skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Work with students in an international school environment

Qualified candidates should have:

• Experience coaching volleyball (middle school and/or competitive level preferred)
• Good communication skills in English
• A valid working permit
