2027 Sustainability Coordinators Workshop - Registration is Now Open
Sustainability Coordinators Workshop, Vienna International School, February 11-13, 2027
Dear Colleagues,
A happy Autumn to you. We hope and trust that you are well, during what continues to be, a punishing climate-ravaged summer for many parts of the globe.
In a spirit of active hope, and following the success of the inaugural Sustainability Coordinators Workshop earlier this year, we are delighted to announce the next Sustainability Coordinators (SusEd Co) Workshop, at Vienna International School, Thursday 11 – Saturday 13, February, 2027.
This 10 x 1.5 hour session workshop will build on the wonderful experience in Vienna and connect to the SusEd’s successful international professional learning series in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Over two dynamic days, we will explore three guiding questions at the heart of sustainability leadership in schools:
- Why do I do what I do?
- What is the optimal environment for sustainability education?
- What will my verse be?
Through a rich blend of reflection, systems thinking, pedagogical inquiry and action planning, participants will:
- Clarify purpose and define their role as sustainability coordinators and change agents
- Explore what effective sustainability education looks like in complex school systems
- Develop leadership tools to inspire colleagues and embed sustainable practice across the curriculum and operations
- Design strategies to measure impact and shape a living sustainability vision for their school
The workshop experience is immersive and practical, drawing from real-world case studies, peer learning, and expert facilitation. Participants will leave with actionable frameworks, new collaborations, and a renewed sense of purpose as they return to lead their communities toward regenerative futures.
Vienna International School, an established leader in sustainability and global citizenship education, will host the workshop. We expect participants from schools, universities and organisations across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The workshop fee of €680 covers all sessions, resources, and catering during the two days.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing network of educators leading systemic change in their organisations. We very much hope that your school will be able to send one or more delegates to be part of this important conversation.
To register please fill this form or visit the Vienna International School or SusEd websites.
We’ll be in touch again soon. Please note that we expect significant interest in this event.
Do get in touch if you have any questions at any time.
With best wishes,
