We’re excited to officially welcome our Early Years students to the VIS Eco Schools Programme as part of a new global initiative by Eco Schools International, designed specifically for younger learners.
As a proud Eco School, VIS has embedded sustainability and environmental learning across all grade levels—from Early Learning to Grade 12. With the launch of the new Early Years approach from Eco Schools (learn more here), our youngest students now have even more opportunities to explore their natural environment, ask meaningful questions, and begin building the essential Green Skills needed for a more sustainable future.
In line with this development, we are pleased to have opened Green Team participation to Grade 1 and Grade 2 students and integrated Early Learning and Grade Primary into the new Early Years strand of our Eco Schools journey. These groups will now take an active role in planning and taking action on sustainability topics relevant to their age and experience.
This exciting step reinforces our commitment to environmental education at every level and empowers even our youngest learners to make a difference.
