The MUN community at VIS has grown into a successful student-led project, made possible by the ongoing support of our parents, the board, and the school management team. Starting with weekly sessions for students as young as 12, the program gives our delegates the chance to represent the school at conferences across Europe and beyond.
Our delegation in Haarlem included students ranging from 13 to 17 years old. In the weeks leading up to the event, our more experienced delegates took on leadership roles, mentoring the younger students to ensure they felt confident and prepared for the formal sessions that began on Friday morning.
This trip was a great example of our students putting their Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills into practice, navigating a complex professional environment outside of their usual classroom setting.
Beyond the debates, the trip was a wonderful social experience. Our students enjoyed connecting with peers from different backgrounds and forming new friendships based on their shared interest in global affairs.
We are incredibly proud of how our delegates represented the school.
