Ever since becoming the first international Eco School in Austria, VIS has celebrated the annual Earth Day in an attempt to appreciate and preserve the planet we live in. This year was no different. And although we obviously weren’t able to celebrate it at school, Vienna International School put together an online video to create awareness for the need of a sustainable environment and to leave a green print on our planet. In this respect, the Eco-team prepared a lovely video containing our community's wishes and thoughts about taking care of our Earth. We were excited to see how our students are becoming active participants and make positive changes in big and small ways. Thank you to the students who sent us their contributions and for taking care of our Earth!

The VIS community is committed to creating awareness of the need for a sustainable environment and to leave a green print on our planet. Being an Eco School International helps our students to understand the important aspects of sustainability on a global scale, making them global citizens and future ambassadors that share their commitment towards a truly sustainable world. The VIS is proudly the first Eco School International in Austria and invites all the other schools to join efforts towards creating a sustainable planet.
