“Our VIS ski team can definitely be happy with everything we have accomplished. The weather was amazing, the snow was great and we were all so thrilled to be there! Dedication, motivation and team spirt were the key words of the week. We all supported each other and pushed ourselves to do better; this is also why we were able to achieve such surprising results. Second place trophy for our Junior team, third place trophy for our Senior team and third place for the overall Heinrich Harrer Cup team trophy! Every little point made a difference and all the support from our amazing coaches and teachers made us able to bring these victories home. Because of the two-year pause, we were even more determined to do our best! What we always love and remember from these trips is how there are never any kinds of divisions… instead, we are simply one great big team! In fact, it’s in experiences like these that we learn the most and acquire such important life lessons that we will never forget!

For the Junior giant slalom we had a first place D girls from Johanna Salzgeber, a third place C girls from Anna Salzgeber and a second place D boys from Nino Linnau. For the senior giant slalom we got a third place A girls from Gaia Ventriglia. Instead, for the Senior Slalom we had a second place B boys from Peter Cech and, in the Junior Slalom we had so many great results with Johanna first in D girls, Anna and Minu second and third in C girls, Nino second in D boys and Laurens second in C boys. We ended the fantastic week with five podiums in Super G; Johanna first in D girls, Anna third in C girls, Nino second in D boys, Marlene second in A girls and Gaia third in A girls. Four VIS podiums were also awarded for the overall wins with Johanna first in D girls, Anna second in C girls, Nino second in D boys and Marlene second in A girls!

We’re all so proud and so excited to reach even better results in our Hauser Kaibling races very soon!!!”
