The William Kirk theatre became the vibrant backdrop for our highly anticipated Summer Concert. The atmosphere was electric as students, teachers and parents gathered to witness an extraordinary display of talent and passion. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who graced the event with their presence, as their unwavering support truly elevated the performers' spirits and added to the magic of the evening.
The concert showcased a mesmerising blend of diverse styles and groups, leaving the audience captivated from start to finish. It was a celebration of the tremendous growth witnessed by our ensembles throughout the year, both in terms of size and the exceptional quality of their performances. Under the theme "Around the world with VIS," our groups took the audience on an enchanting musical journey, presenting a myriad of compositions from various countries, including Korea, Japan, Australia, Czech Republic, France, Israel, the UK, and the USA, among others. The repertoire highlighted the rich cultural tapestry of our global community, fostering appreciation for the world's diverse musical traditions.
Every performance during the Summer Concert was executed at an exceptionally high level, making it nearly impossible to single out any one standout moment. Many will grace the stage once again during the G10 graduation, the G12 graduation, Pride Week, and the final assembly. These events serve as an opportunity for our talented performers to showcase their skills one final time before bidding farewell to the current academic year.
