This week, we close the curtain on a roaring success – our Primary School’s vibrant and unforgettable production of "Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr.!" From the opening roar to the final bow, audiences were transported from New York’s Central Park Zoo to the wilds of Madagascar, swept up in dazzling sights, catchy tunes, and the boundless energy of our student performers. It was a wild ride that left us all smiling, dancing in our seats, and chanting "I like to move it, move it!"
Bringing the jungle to life took true teamwork, and we’re bursting with pride and gratitude for our incredible cast and crew, including the many staff and parent volunteers who made it all happen. From learning lines and choreography to crafting colourful costumes, painting sets, managing lights and sound, and welcoming guests at the door, this production was a community effort in every sense.
All primary students had the opportunity to see the show during the school day, either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, and the whole primary school is buzzing, they’re singing the tunes and humming the sounds of the show, even today (on Friday) when we came back to school.
A big thank you to all the families who supported their children throughout this creative journey. Your encouragement helped bring out the best in every performer, and your enthusiasm added to the joy that filled the auditorium each night.
