Grade 9 Drama Students Perform for Primary School Audience
On Wednesday, 12 November, our Grade 9 Drama students delivered a fantastic performance for some very special guests from the Primary School—our Grade 1 students. The event created a joyful and memorable connection between younger and older learners through the shared experience of live theatre.
As part of their Drama studies, the Grade 9 students have been exploring Theatre for Young Audiences, focusing on how performances can be engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all age groups. This performance allowed students to put their learning into practice by adapting storytelling, movement, and expression to suit a younger audience.
The event was a wonderful celebration of creativity and collaboration, bringing VIS Primary and Secondary students together through their shared appreciation of the Performing Arts. We are proud of the confidence, creativity, and professionalism shown by our Grade 9 Drama students, and of the enthusiasm shown by their young audience.
