The European Universities Consortium (EUC) Fair, held on Friday, 7 November, was an engaging and informative event for VIS students and parents, offering valuable insight into a wide range of higher education opportunities across Europe.
The afternoon began with a short introductory presentation that provided a helpful overview of European study pathways, highlighting differences in university systems, application processes, and academic structures across countries. This set the scene for meaningful conversations and helped families better understand the variety of options available to students considering universities in Europe.
Following the presentation, students and parents had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives in an open fair format until 16:30. Representatives from Bocconi University, Brussels School of Governance, EHL Hospitality Business School, IE University, and MODUL University were available to answer questions and share detailed information.
Throughout the event, visitors learned about academic programmes, admission requirements, campus life, and career pathways directly from the universities themselves. These one-on-one conversations allowed students to explore options aligned with their interests and ambitions, while parents gained clarity on application timelines and expectations.
The EUC Fair was a valuable opportunity for our school community to engage with European higher education providers in an accessible and supportive environment. Events like this play an important role in helping students make informed decisions as they plan their futures beyond VIS.
