Our school’s dedication to environmental responsibility continues through the Danube Cleanup, a monthly service activity where students come together to make a positive impact on the local environment. As part of their Service & Action and CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programmes, students meet regularly to clean the banks of the Danube River in Vienna, helping to protect this vital natural resource and raise awareness about sustainability.
This cleanup effort not only benefits the environment but also strengthens our community bonds and nurtures a spirit of service and teamwork among participants. Over the year, students have demonstrated incredible commitment, showing how small actions can lead to meaningful change.
The final Danube Cleanup of this school year took place recently, bringing together S-A/CAS students along with family members, younger siblings, and even friendly pets, to share in this rewarding experience. After the cleanup, participants enjoyed some ice cream together, celebrating their hard work and dedication.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this ongoing effort throughout the year. Together, we’re making a difference, one piece of litter at a time.
