VIS Students Visited the “Mystery of Banksy” Exhibition

In the IB Language A courses, students deepen their understanding of a wide variety of concepts explored through literary and non-literary texts which they analyze and evaluate. By doing that, language learning is strongly connected to learning about society, history, culture etc.

Grade 11 students are currently exploring the ways in which inequality affects society and its individuals. With this purpose, they visited the exhibition “The Mystery of Banksy – A Genius Mind”. Banksy’s work often engages political themes, satirically critiquing war, capitalism, and greed which perfectly fit the current topic.

The students found the exhibition very insightful. As a reflection, they prepared posters presenting their individual impressions and thoughts about the visit.
