The MINT seal of approval is awarded to educational institutions who use various measures to promote innovative and inspiring learning in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.
Vienna International School (VIS) is again recognized as a school of excellence in “Mathematics, Informatics, Natural sciences and Technology”. After a long stretch of COVID restrictions, the Austrian Ministry of Education and the Industry Association were finally able to host the face-to-face award ceremony for selected schools that excel in the innovative and inspirational teaching of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).
We are happy to announce that Vienna International School received this award for the second time in a row. The ceremony took place at the Technical Museum in the presence of the Viennese Director of Education.
Our school will carry the MINT seal for another three years and will have the opportunity to connect with other schools of excellence through the programme. Congratulations to all departments involved!
