Model United Nations Trip To Cambridge

A group of students traveled to Cambridge at the beginning of December to represent the school at CamMUN, a conference organised by the Stephen Perse Foundation of Cambridge.

The students grew into delegates and became knowledgeable in their committees thanks to their enthusiasm and hard work. It was not easy at the beginning, yet our remarkable young delegates managed to work together in the morning and evenings to develop their approach, write and practice their speeches as well as formulate resolutions. It was motivating for all students to see so many eager delegates discuss and resolve the world’s most pressing issues, as they formed bonds and relations with one another.

Model United Nations is an academic activity in which students learn about diplomacy and international relations, by simulating the role of the United Nations organizations. The Model United Nations Conference teaches the participants speaking, writing and debating skills, in addition to critical thinking and leadership abilities.

We thank the families of the students for their trust and support to this activity and look forward to the next conferences.
