DEIB - Let Them Lead

Celebrating the Voices of Future Changemakers

AIELOC (Association for International Educators and Leaders of Color) proudly presents Let Them Lead, a powerful and thought-provoking series that amplifies the voices of international school students and alumni. In this transformative platform, adults are invited to lend their ears and hearts as these exceptional young individuals share their hopes and dreams for a more equitable and just ecosystem, both within their schools and the wider world.

On Saturday, 3rd June, Let Them Lead held an engaging event that left a profound impact on all attendees. Among the inspiring participants were four exceptional students from Vienna International School, who fearlessly took the stage to discuss diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in a spirited and enlightening discourse. We extend our warmest congratulations to Anna Bures, Alina Busuioc, Sarah Ahmethodzic, and Nicola Maina for their remarkable contributions to the DEIB dialogue and for representing our school with grace and eloquence.

These exceptional students have demonstrated exceptional leadership and courage by engaging in meaningful conversations surrounding DEIB issues. Their voices have not only inspired but also served as catalysts for change, igniting a desire within all those who had the privilege of listening to their powerful narratives.

AIELOC commended our students for their commitment to championing equity, justice, and inclusivity. Their active participation in Let Them Lead exemplifies the transformative impact that young changemakers can have on our society. As we celebrate their accomplishments, let us join together in applauding their bravery, determination, and unwavering dedication to creating a more equitable and just world for all.
