In response to the alarming rise of the COVID-19 cases in Vienna and Austria, the Austrian Government required schools to shift to a Distance Learning programme from Tuesday, 17 November 2020.
Distance Learning is in effect until Sunday, 6 December, unless otherwise stated by the Austrian Government. During the closure time, all students (Grades ELC to 12) will be taught using the Distance Learning Model which includes a provision for new learning. Families who need the school to supervise their children because the parents fall into one of the categories of essential employment, will be offered child supervision on-site. These closures have been made under the instructions of the Republic of Austria. The objective of the school is to do what we can to support student and staff welfare and continue learning as best we can - thank you for your support!
Feel welcome to follow our social media channels during the time of closure (VIS Facebook, VIS Instagram, VIS Twitter and VIS LinkedIn) to see updates on the distance learning experience during the closure time.
