International Baccalaureate Diploma Results

VIS is a non-selective IB World School, authorised to deliver the three IB programmes. The school is fortunate to have a rich and diverse community with students from over 100 countries and a thriving Mother Tongue programme.  The school is committed to working with all learners in order to help them achieve their full potential.  

An overview of the achievements of the class of 2016 with132 students taking the full IB Diploma includes the following:
  • The pass rate for Diploma students was 94%
  • 13% of students obtained 40 points or more
  • 24% of students obtained 38 points or more (Ivy League/Russell Group minimum requirement)
  • 81% of students obtained 30 points or more
  • The average point score for the Diploma students was 33.7
