The Vienna International School moved to its current campus in Vienna's 22nd district near the United Nations in 1984. The school buildings include an independent Early Learning Centre, a Primary School wing, and a Secondary School wing. In addition, there is a newly developed Innovation Centre; multiple art studios and music rooms; seven recently modernised science laboratories; a food technology centre; five Apple computer resource rooms; two well-stocked central libraries and an audio-visual media centre.  The School recently refurbished its 220 seat theatre. We offer a full day programme of nutritious meals prepared onsite in our own kitchen,  and have five gymnasia which include a competition size basketball court. Outside there is a playing field and running track, two all-weather sports areas, three playgrounds, an outdoor theatre arena, and a small ecology lab.
